New Ambassador Matt Field: Commitment of Great Britain to BiH has never been stronger

In his first address to BiH public, the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom to BiH Matt Field said that he is genuinely looking forward to work in a country he already knows and cares about.

“We are all really looking forward to living in this beautiful country in the next few years. I will continue footsteps of my colleagues with the help of a great team of the embassy,” stated Field.

As he said, his goal will stay the same, i.e. the desire to help BiH to be successful on its Euro-Atlantic path that BH citizens chose.

“The commitment of the United Kingdom to BiH has never been stronger. It is reflected in a very practical support. Prime Minister Theresa May announced duplication of help to BiH and the region at the recently held Western Balkans Summit in London,” stated Field.

He stated that he wants to talk with the citizens of BiH and hear their opinions and proposals on the best way for Great Britain to act in our country. He noted that citizens can contact him directly on Twitter and Instagram (@MattFieldUK) or via the profile of the Embassy of the United Kingdom (@BritishEmbassySarajevo).

Experienced diplomat Field worked as the Head of the Political Department of the EU Delegation and the Office of EU Special Representative in BiH in 2016.
