safet zajkoWorks are currently being exxecuted in the Center “Safet Zajko” in Sarajevo on the construction of an alpine training park, two tennis court and five table tennis tables.

As confirmed by the Municipality of Novi Grad, the contents of apline training park will be two artificial climbing rocks with three directions for climbing, intended for three categories of difficulty depending on the physical readiness of the climber.

“Roks will be used for training and coordination preparations of civil protection structures, mountain rescue services, as well as alpine and other sport clubs who show interest,” the Municipality stated. The value of works is 31.550 BAM.

Tennis courts should be completed by mid-September and works are worth 97.980 BAM.

Moreover, construction of artificial lakes and a flower garden at the area of 5.500 square meters is also expected soon. Different amenities for relaxation will be built in addition to the lakes and the garden.

“That project includes a water section with a mini waterfall, a creek and two larger lakes surrounded by walking trails, benches and gazebos. We will also plant different trees and bushes, and some evergreens that will enrich this area during the entire year. The flower garden will be something that the City of Sarajevo has never had before,” stated the Municipality.

Works executed by the company Bosman should be completed this year.
