A new German investment, 257th in Bosnia and Herzegovina so far and worth about 6 million BAM, is being implemented in Sanski Most, Federal News Agency reports.

This step of the owner was prompted by his workers in Germany, residents of Hrustovo who proposed this investment and so far, 20 people have been employed, who, after training in Germany, will be ready to start working in production in March 2019.

“By the end of the year, we plan to employ 50 new workers and 50 more next year. Eighty percent of the jobs will be for women, because it is about fine and precise work, thin wiring assembling, where woman’s hand is far more precise than that of a man,” said the executive director of the company Ejub Topić.

A better economic environment and enabling a new economic impetus are the intentions of the Una-Sana Canton Government and the Ministry of Economy, it was highlighted during the visit to the production facility of the German company based in Sanski Most.

“Our intent is to restore and strengthen the Una-Sana Canton’s economy through partnerships between the Government and the business sector, with numerous forms of support for potential investors,” said USC Prime Minister Mustafa Ruznic.
