Male junior handball national team of B&H will meet tomorrow in Grančanica within the third phase of preparations for their performance at the World Championship, which will be held by the end of June in B&H. During the five- day preparations, B&H juniors will attend the Gračanica handball tournament which will be held on the 12th and 13th of January.
The Junior World Handball Championship will be held on the 14th and 28th of July in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Zenica and Ljubuški. Twenty four national junior teams will compete at this Championship. All twelve participating teams of the Junior World Handball Championship have gone through their qualifications and all twelve have qualified for the Championship. B&H will compete at the Junior World Handball Championship as the host, together with the European champion of Spain, vice-champion of Croatia, Slovenia, Holland, Sweden, Hungary, Denmark, Germany, France, Switzerland and Russia. Four teams from Africa and Asia will also compete at this Championship, as well as two representatives from Oceania, South and North America.
The official group will be announced by the end of April in the Headquarters of IHF in Basel or Sarajevo, and all teams will be divided in four groups that will consist of six national teams. B&H junior handball team will play in Sarajevo or Zenica.
