The newly elected Mitropolit of Dabrobosan Chrysostom was ceremoniously entrhoned today at the Assembly Hall in Sarajevo.
The Ceremonial of Entrance was preceded over by the Holy Archdiocese, who was served by the Patriarch of Serbia Irinej at the reception of the archbishop and priest of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Before the inauguration, the Serbian Patriarch Irinej addressed the attendees, after which the decision of the SPC Assembly was read as the Metropolitan Chrysostom sat on the throne of the Dabrobosan Metropolit.
The ceremony ended with the words of the Mitropolit of Chrysostom, who said that he took over the management of the Mitropolit Dabrobosanka with optimism and that he would try to justify the trust given to him.
According to him, the Metropolit Dabrobosan, through his millennial history, passed through periods of bloom, progress, and suffering, but remained that apart from her and the suffering of the Serbian people, other people were killed in this region.
“We remember today all innocent victims, of all missing persons, expelled and disenfranchised in this city and throughout BiH. We are thankful of the time of suffering and suffering behind us, that from now on we can and should restore life in this region. Let us allow someone to leave his hearths and their sufferings for the sake of their victims and their sacred relics. Let us restore ourselves to the work of our holy ancestors who did not endure any suffering or suffering in their ethnics. Instead of continually casting into the tragedies of the past and the turmoil in them, we seek and urge us to embark on a program of truth and reconciliation,” said Metropolit hrysostom.
He added that the truth would free all from the trauma and reconcile them to one another.
