New Website Lends Support to Job Search

business dealThe Association “Infohouse’’ from Sarajevo launched a website called trikorakadoposla.ba and a Facebook profile ‘3 steps to a job’ that will serve young people in obtaining information that could be crucial when looking for work.

In addition, since April of this year 100 students successfully passed the testing process, the differential aptitude test (DAT) for professional guidance and selection, said in a statement of this Association.

It is said that through seven various tests students showed their capabilities in verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning, and perceptual speed and accuracy, spatial relations, grammar and spelling, which completed the first phase of the project ‘Shift in Old Town-Professional Orientation of Young Activists’’.

After a psychological analysis, students will receive a created profile of their skills that could help them bring crucial decisions on further study and professional orientation.

The aim of this project is the promotion of social inclusion of young people up until 30 years of age in the labor market and creates a program in the area of employment that would enable young people to become competitive and more competent in the labor market.

Through a series of activities of this project, young people will have learned the basic principles of active job search based on education, vocational counseling and testing after the implementation orientation.

In the next months through information sessions students will meet with top employers from the area of the municipalities that will convey to these young people positive experiences on launching a business.
