Scan 2 Heather Matthews recently contacted Sarajevo Times with a request-to help her find a family from B&H. On 8 October 1994, the New Zealand Herald Newspaper published a Reuters photograph of a prisoner exchange and reunion of three brothers. Heather cut out the newspaper clipping, and the following year painted the image for an art class. She is now looking to find the family and give them the painting.

DSC_0721‘’I was clearing out my studio recently and came across the painting at the back of my cupboard. I realize that 20 years have passed since this happened, and that many people would have moved away, but I hope that you can help me by telling this story and finding the family’’, said Heather Matthews.

If anyone has any information on the family or if you recognize them, you can contact us at info@sarajevotimes.com.
