Hubjer Family House klix.baThe nine-member family of Sakib Hubjer from Kazagići near Goražde has a roof over the head again. Their house was damaged in a fire some ten days ago.

The recovery of the facility is jointly financed by the Municipality and the Bosna-Podrinje Canton Goražde, as well as business entities and individuals. Interior works on the floor which was also destroyed in the fire are soon to be completed, too.

“I would like to say thanks to the mayor, the Government of the Bosna-Podrinje Canton, my director Šejla Bojadžić, companies ‘Mlin-Ustikolina’, ‘Okac’ and ‘Drina’, as well as to all good people who helped us in our misfortune. This assistance has encouraged us,” said the owner of the house, Sakib Hubjer.

As a reminder, the fire in Sakib Hubjer’s house was extinguished thanks to a fast and efficient intervention of members of the professional fire brigade Goražde. According to announcements, Sakib and his family should be able to fully use all rooms damaged in the fire already in a month.

“Our civil protection unit made it on time and we managed to extinguish the fire and stop it because it could have spread over the neighboring houses as well. Then we promised we will provide a roof for their house and we did that together with the Cantonal Government. Moreover, companies ‘Okac’ and ‘Drina’ joined and did installations and a certain part of works on the ceilings and our fellow citizen Haris Vučinić donated some necessities. Today, the family is happy and interior works in these rooms are to be finished in several days,” said the Mayor of Goražde Municipality Muhamed Ramović.
