A total of 19 medals, along with six swimming records of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is the performance of the competitors of the Sport Team Swimming Club from Sarajevo at the 51st traditional meeting “Youth” held this weekend in Zagreb.

At one of the strongest swimming meets in the region, 511 competitors from 54 clubs from six countries took part.

On the first day of the competition, along with 12 medals, Sport Team swimmers defeated four BH swimmers record.

In the 200-meter medley, Iman Avdić became the owner of the senior and junior records with a time of 2:12.70, and Arian Kadić won two for younger juniors in the 50-meter breaststroke (29.83) and 200-meter breaststroke (2:18.45).

Kenan Dračić joined the record holders in the 400 meter freestyle (3:49.17).

They completed the collection on the second day of the weekend with seven more medals, i.e. the records of Kenan Dračić in the competition for juniors in the 200 meter freestyle (1:46.72), and that of Arian Kadić in the 100 meters for younger juniors (1:04.67).

“The results achieved are just another confirmation of the correct and dedicated work of our competitors. It is important to point out that Iman Avdić and Kenan Dračić once again excelled as juniors, who in the senior competition, among other things, convincingly won the first places in the disciplines of 200 meters freestyle and 200 meters butterfly”, it was announced from the Swimming Club Sport time.
