Almir Šahović, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which covers Portugal on a non-resident basis, confirmed to Fena news agency that, according to official information received from the competent Portuguese authorities, there were no deaths or serious injuries to BiH citizens in the cable car accident in Lisbon.
Šahović said that the identification of all the dead and seriously injured persons has not yet been completed, and that he hopes that the information about BiH citizens will remain unchanged.
Let us recall that 17 people died and 21 were injured in the fall of the “Gloria” cable car in Lisbon.
The Portuguese government declared September 4th a Day of National Mourning.
