Today at the International Center for Children and Youth of Novo Sarajevo, Humanitarian organization of students “Ruku na srce”, distributed 1,300 packets to the children from socially disadvantaged families, as part of the project “No child without a gift packet”.
Besides Christmas packages, the children had the opportunity to see the New Year’s show, “Little Red Riding Hood on our way,” prepared by the volunteers of the Association. The children also participated in creative workshops and had the opportunity to hang out with the Santa Claus.
About a hundred young people, mostly students, worked on the realization of the project for the last three months.
Emphasizing the fact that the project have been realized for 5 years now, the President of the Humanitarian organization of students “Ruku na Srce,” Edin Zujo recalled that they had prepared 260 presents for children on the first year, and this year they distributed a total of 1,300 packages.
“This is the result of hard work of all the volunteers. We owe special thanks to companies, organizations and individuals who have helped us in this project,” added Zujo.
