The Viennese police announced that they ruled out the connection of the persons from the recordings made in Vienna by a Serbian citizen with the disappearance of the girl Danka Ilić from the vicinity of Bor, after their identities were clarified and contact was established with them.
“Based on the investigation and supporting facts, the connection between the persons depicted in the published videos and the missing girl can be clearly and without any doubt excluded,” the statement said.
The office of the Vienna State Criminal Police continues the investigation into the suspected abduction of a child, the statement added.
The Austrian site “Kosmo” announced that it had found two women and a child based on a video taken by a Serb living in Vienna who was suspected of missing Danka Ilić from Bor.
The Romanian citizen told the website that she and her mother had nothing to do with the abduction of the child.
The search for two-year-old Danka Ilić, who disappeared last Tuesday in Banjsko polje near Bor in Serbia, has entered the 10th day.
The police continue to work intensively. All facts and all persons who can be linked to the girl’s disappearance are being checked.
The search of the terrain continues, and police patrols are still in Banjsko polje.
Interpol issued a yellow warrant for Danka Ilić.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing purple pants, an olive green jacket and her hair tied in a ponytail.
Because of her disappearance, the “Find me” system was activated for the first time in Serbia, Srna reports.
