No Information that B&H Citizens are among the victims in the earthquake in Nepal

RegojeMinistry of Foreign Affairs has no information that the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal yesterday, has killed citizens of B&H – said Chief of the Office of Public Relations in the MFA, Nebojša Regoje.

He said that the Ministry has no information that any of our citizens were staying as tourists in that area, or participating in the mountaineering teams.

“At the moment, we have no information that any of B&H citizens was killed”, said Regoje.

He also confirmed that one family from Bosnia and Herzegovina lives in Nepal, but in an area that was not affected by the earthquake.

According to current information, the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal yesterday, killed more than a thousand people.

Epicenter of the quake was located in Nepal, but dozens of people were killed in neighboring India and Bangladesh.
