In Susica, in the area of the municipality of Srebrenica, the remains of at least two victims of the past war were exhumed yesterday.

According to the information of the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is presumed that they are victims of Bosniak nationality, ie a married couple from Visegrad who disappeared in that area in 1993.

Institute spokeswoman Emza Fazlic said the exhumation was completed in the late afternoon, given that it was extremely inaccessible terrain.

An expert team for exhumations consisting of representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the RS Ministry of the Interior, ICMP and the Tuzla Commemorative Center had to walk more than two hours to the site.

The exhumation was carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and by order of the Court of BiH.
