European Parliament (EP) Rapporteur for Visa Liberalisation Tanja Fajon confirmed that the conditions for the continuation of negotiations concerning the mechanisms for suspending the no visa regime for the countries of the Western Balkans were not met, after the failure of these negotiations at the end of the last year.
Representatives of the Council of Europe, European Commission and European Parliament did not reach an agreement on the aforementioned mechanism on 18 December 2012.
Tanja Fajon said: ”For now, I don’t know when will the talks be continued.”
