No new Cases of Coronavirus Infection in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Entity

In the past 24 hours, 180 samples were tested for coronavirus at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS).

None of the tested samples were positive, it was confirmed from KCUS.

Yesterday, coronavirus has been confirmed in 31 new cases in Republika Srpska entity, after testing 296 samples, and out of 31 newly infected, 23 are workers of the “Alfa” footwear factory in Modrica.

The Hygienic and Epidemiological Service of the Modrica Health Center started the epidemiological treatment of all employees and their contacts were examined and surveyed.

In cooperation with the RS Institute of Public Health, all epidemiological measures and home isolation order issued for all persons who were in contact with the infected.

In addition to 23 people from Modrica, three people infected are from Banja Luka, two from Derventa and one each from Prnjavor, Doboj and Prijedor.

In the last 24 hours, two deaths were reported to the RS Institute of Public Health, in which the presence of coronavirus was confirmed.

So far, 1,469 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the RS, and a total of 116 people have died.
