Non-marking of the Statehood Day is disrespect of the Laws of this Country

dzaferovicStatehood Day of B&H, the 25th of November, which was celebrated yesterday, is prescribed by the law and applies to the state level, said Sefik Dzaferovic, Chairman of the House of Representatives of Parliamentary Assembly of B&H.

Dzaferovic, together with other delegations, visited yesterday the Martyr Cemetery Kovaci and paid tribute to the fallen soldiers of B&H.

He reminded that this holiday is not celebrated in the whole country as it should be.

“Unfortunately, it is not celebrated everywhere. There are still some forces in B&H which are not marking this day due to its relationship with B&H. We have a law on the 25th of November as a national holiday and non-marking of it by these structures is not the result of lack of legislation, it represents a disrespect of the law,” stated Dzaferovic.

“This is the day when the statehood continuity of our country was restored, when it was said that B&H is Muslim and Serbian and Croatian, all of us who are living in it,” said Dzaferovic.
