The play-off final between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy has attracted huge attention across Europe, and the match at Bilino Polje will not go unnoticed even among the biggest sports names.

Novak Đoković will be among those who will watch the duel between the Dragons and the Azzurra from the stands, this was confirmed to N1 by the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After Bosnia and Herzegovina’s big win against Wales, Djokovic shared a photo of Edin Dzeko on social media with the message:

“Bravo Edine, bravo BiH”

The Dragons reached the decisive match after a dramatic match in Cardiff.

Captain Edin Dzeko was the key player of the evening – he scored in the 86th minute to equalize, which took the game to extra time.

After that, Bosnia and Herzegovina was more confident in the penalty shootout and won 4:2.

Additional motivation for a historic challenge
Djokovic’s presence at Bilino Polje will certainly further raise the atmosphere and give additional impetus to the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

The Dragons have the opportunity to take a huge step and qualify for the World Cup, and support from the stands – including that of one of the greatest athletes of all time – can be a decisive factor.

Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy meet in Zenica, and the stakes are high – a win will take them to the World Cup.

All eyes will be on Bilino Polje, where the Dragons have the chance to write one of the greatest pages of Bosnian football, N1 writes.
