Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalic received at the seat of the Government of the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to BiH Akhtar Jamil Rao,

Novalic expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and emphasized that the assistance provided by Pakistan to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past period will not be forgotten.

The interlocutors agree that the friendship between the two countries and the relations so far are a good basis for improving and strengthening economic cooperation.

“Given that Pakistan has significant experience in investing around the world, but also our needs, we are extremely interested in the possibility of investing this friendly country in our economy. There is potential and now is the time to start concrete economic cooperation and joint projects. We have space in numerous areas such as industry, tourism and education, but also to achieve greater exchange of products in a significant number of economic activities,” said Prime Minister Novalic.

Ambassador Rao emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to continue to support and promote friendly relations between the two countries and to be available to present the potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina to investors from this country.

This is the inaugural visit of the Pakistani ambassador to PM Novalic who has been in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the end of September this year.
