Novelties on Ravna Mountain in Pale in the RS

Ski Center “Ravna Mountain” in Pale officially opened the summer season for all visitors on the occasion of May 1 – the International Worker’s Day.

Spokeswoman of the ski center, Ana Radojkovic, said that the summer season will offer numerous contents – from zip-lines, adrenaline bike rides, pedalling on the lake, panoramic drives in a gondola, walking on water in special balls, arranged walking trails and rich gastronomic offer.

Radojkovic also stated that there is a 12 kilometers long trail for mountaineers to Jahorina, and the trail to the exit station of the gondola for pedestrians and the cyclist route is 6.5 kilometers long.

Igor Tosic, the Director of the Tourist Organization of East Sarajevo, noted that this organization relies on the potentials of Ravna Mountain, which completes the tourist offer of the city.

He also added that an especially important investment is the organization of a pedestrian trail at which are placed two natural fresh water sources.

The Mayor of the Municipality Pale, Bosko Jugovic, stated that Ravna Mountain is a complex that largely contributes to the overall tourist offer, not only the Municipality of Pale, but the area of Jahorina Mountain and Sarajevo-Romanija region as well.

He stated that they will also try to allocate funds for the access road to the ski center in the upcoming period, as well as numerous other contents planned for this season.
