The border crossing in Novi Grad, from Friday, April 19th, is open for passenger traffic.

The mayor of the Municipality of Dvor Nikola Arbutin told Srna that his information on the opening of the border crossing was confirmed by Hrvatske Ceste (Croatian Roads).

He says that passenger traffic will be released on Friday, and official opening is scheduled for April 30th or after the first holidays.

Due to works on the Croatian side, the transition was closed for passenger traffic, except for pedestrians, as of July 31 last year.

For freight traffic, the transport has been closed since 2013 when Croatia entered the European Union, and the Municipality of Novi Grad filed a request for overtime categorization in the same year, and the procedure is still ongoing.
