Number of Building Permits issued in BiH records Decrease

Number of building permits issued in July of 2021, compared to the average number of building permits issued in 2020, decreased by 3.1% and compared to the July of 2020, decreased by 9.4%.

A number of dwellings planned for construction in July of 2021, compared to the average number of dwellings planned for construction in 2020, increased by 12.0% and compared to the July of 2020, increased by 20.9%.

The average price of new apartments sold in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the second quarter of this year is 1,812 BAM per square meter and is higher by 10.2 percent compared to the average price of new apartments sold in the same period last year.

Compared to the average price of new dwellings sold in 2020, the average price is 8.7 percent higher, according to the BiH Statistics Agency.

The number of new dwellings sold in the second quarter was 711, which is 10.4 percent higher than in the second quarter of last year, while compared to the average number of new dwellings sold in 2020, it was 9.2 percent lower.

The area of sold new apartments in the second quarter amounted to 38,761 square meters and is higher by 9.9 percent compared to the same quarter last year, and compared to the average area of sold new apartments in 2020 is lower by 10.4 percent, reports Srna news agency.
