The official mascot of the European Olympic Youth Festival (EYOF) 2019 is Groodvy, as announced after all the votes of fans from social networks were carefully counted. Groodvy won with only 125 votes more than the second-placed mascot.
Snowball Groodvy was created by the Visia Agency from Eastern Sarajevo, and it received a total of 3,353 votes. The second place went to Jezos with 3,228 votes, which was created by students from the Academy of Fine Arts of Trebinje, and the third place went to Jazzy who won 1,008 votes, and it was also created by students from the Academy of Fine Arts of Trebinje.
The official mascot of EYOF 2019 will be presented at the 2nd Innovation Fair Sarajevo Unlimited, which will take place from November 2 to 4, and the winner will receive a cash prize in the amount of 1,500 BAM.
The organizers thanked everyone for participating in the selection of the official mascot of EYOF 2019, and they also announced more interesting activities on their official page with the message “See you at snowballing!”
