Since today Sarajevo will become richer with new premises dedicated to people meeting and to fans of archeology- the Center for promotion of archaeological tourism, which is opened by a non-profit Foundation “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun”.
This center is 60 square meters and has three floors and is located in the middle of Baščaršija at Bravadžiluk street. The aim of this center is to promote archaeological tourism, primarily Bosnian pyramids and other important archaeological sites and phenomena in B&H.
All those who visit the Center will have the opportunity to buy or to have a look at the book dedicated to the phenomenon of the pyramid in the world, to ancient civilization and will also offer a variety of souvenirs, DVDs, postcards and other items.
The Assistant Director of the Foundation Sabina Osmanagić pointed out for Agency Fena that the Center represents one branch of the Foundation in Sarajevo and will offer to visitors everything that the Foundation deals with.
“The Foundation has its own publishing activities and in the Center various books on the phenomenon of pyramids and ancient civilization can be found. On the first floor is a small gallery space where photos from excavations in Visoko can be seen. They will bring the story on volunteers who come to Visoko every year, as well as this year from 1 June until 30 September, and these people come from 50 countries”, she said.
Also, for all the friends and citizens of Sarajevo the Day of Opened Doors will be organized on Saturday from 10:00-20:00. On that day, the founder of the Foundation Semir Osmanagić will have a short presentation on the project and research on Bosnian pyramids, and will speak to all those interested, and will also sign books.
