After this morning’s session of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) ended without an agreed name for the new high representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the OHR issued an official statement confirming that Louis Crishock will remain acting until further notice.
The ambassadors of the Steering Committee of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC SBA) at today’s meeting confirmed their commitment to appoint a mutually acceptable candidate for the new high representative in our country as soon as possible.
“Until such an agreement is reached, the ambassadors of the member countries of the Governing Board of the Peace Implementation Council stated, without objection, that acting High Representative Louis Crishock continues to implement the mandate of the OHR, in accordance with the announcement of the ambassadors of the member countries of the PIC Governing Board of June 30, 2026,” the brief statement states.
