13115775_1765430973693579_537440690_nThis year’s program content of the 506th Days of Ajvatovica was presented in the premises of the Mufti of Travnik on Wednesday.

According to Mufti of Travnik, Ahmed ef. Adilovic, the motto of the upcoming religious and cultural and sporting events, which will start on the 6th of May at 6:00 pm at Musala in Prusac, will be: “By nurturing tradition, to preserve the identity.”

Mufti Adilovic, who is also the president of the Organizing Committee of the 506th Days of Ajvatovica, also emphasized that more than 90 different contents will be realized in the next month in the municipalities of Central Bosnia Canton, Livno and Tomislavgrad, including traditional performances of choirs and groups from Turkey.

“All contents will be realized by the beginning of the month of Ramadan, in May and early June. With this year’s motto of Ajvatovica, we wanted to send a message that it is part of our tradition, and that we, as a nation, should preserve and cherish our traditions in order to preserve our identity, and in order to face the future,” said Mufti Adilovic.

Mayor of Donji Vakuf, Huso Susic, welcomed all of those who decide to attend this event, while the Chief Imam of the Majlis of Islamic Community of Donji Vakuf, Esad ef. Slipac, emphasized that, this time again, Ajvatovica will offer many educational, religious, cultural and sporting contents for all ages.

Chief Imam of the Majlis of the IC in Bugojno, Vehid ef. Arnaut, introduced program contents of the 506th Days of Ajvatovica, which should be organized in this city.

Central manifestation of the 506th Days of Ajvatovica will be held on Sunday, the 29th of May, when thousands of pilgrims from around the world will depart from Prusac to Ajvaz-dedo’s rock.
