Temporary custody was proposed for four medical workers, three doctors and one nurse, who were arrested on Friday during the operation “Surgeon”.

“The acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo proposed to the Sarajevo Municipal Court to designate one-month detention for all four suspects arrested in the operation “Surgeon”. The detention was suggested because of the dangers that the suspect may affect witnesses, conceal evidence and repeat criminal offense,” spokeswoman of the Prosecutor’s Office of Canton Sarajevo Azra Bavcic said.

To recall, the arrested doctors who were working in “Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakaš” hospital were Dragisa Dogovic, Emir Barakovic and Haris Pandza and the nurse Eldina Handzic.

They were arrested for suspicion of abusing the position and receiving the gift, Klix.ba news portal reports.
