The suspect in the murder of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Border Police member Senad Basaric has been arrested in the Sarajevo municipality of Novi Grad, was confirmed to Avaz from the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton.
“A person named S. B. was arrested in the area of Novi Grad about an hour ago. Further procedure is the examination and handing over to the competent prosecutor’s office,” said Mirza Hadziabdic, a spokesman for the MUPKS, told Avaz.
Basaric was arrested on Dobrinja and is currently being questioned by the police.
Basaric is suspected of killing Irma Foric in an apartment in the Dobrinja settlement, whose body was found yesterday.
