One person was killed and 12 were injured in Turkey during an incident during local elections in Diyarbakir, a city with a predominantly Kurdish population, the country’s Health Ministry said.
“During the elections, clashes broke out between two groups and one person was killed and 12 were injured,” local authorities reported.
In Turkey, today are local elections where more than 61.4 million voters are invited to elect officials in 81 Turkish provinces, municipalities and cities, including the largest ones, Beta news agency writes.
