Competent professional services are trying to recover the body of a worker who died yesterday during the collapse of the “Zovi Do” tunnel in Nevesinje, and the investigation has not yet been completed, said the District Prosecutor’s Office in Trebinje.

The worker whose initials are A.Đ. /55/ from Živinice was killed during the collapse of that tunnel, and a thirty-seven-year-old worker from Donji Vakuf and a fifty-five-year-old worker from Bileća were injured, who were treated at Nevesinje Hospital and are out of danger.

The Prosecutor’s Office stated that the conditions for conducting the investigation have not yet been met because activities are being undertaken with care due to the danger of further tunnel collapse.

The injured worker was engaged in work in the tunnel being built for the needs of the “Dabar” Hydroelectric Plant, the Prosecutor’s Office said.
