The situation with flights at Sarajevo International Airport is changing hour by hour. Most airlines have reduced flights to and from Sarajevo as a prevention of the spread of coronaviruses, was confirmed to Fena news agency by a spokeswoman for Sarajevo International Airport Sanja Bagaric.

She stressed that there will be five inbound and five outbound flights today. “The first flight whose landing we expect is a plane from Doha, then from Cologne, Stuttgart, Zagreb and Istanbul, and return flights to these destinations,” said Bagaric.

Flights to Vienna and Belgrade are canceled. Austrian Airlines canceled all flights from March 19-28 to Vienna, while Croatia Airlines canceled all morning and night flights to Zagreb until March 28th.

“Representatives of Sarajevo International Airport are in contact with all relevant institutions, so we have taken all the measures envisaged to reduce the exposure and the possibility of transmission of the disease.”
