This is the fourth year that the portal Fotografija.ba within the festival “Photo of the Year B&H” organizes the contest for the best photo. The winners from five categories: nature, people, press photos, city and creative photos will be selected.
At the competition all interested who are involved with photography can participate. In the competition can not participate members of the managing bodies of the Urban Association from Sarajevo and the members of the jury. From the submitted photos from each category the jury consisting of eight photographers will choose ten best photos. In addition, each category will have a special winner. The best photos will be announced on 24th January 2014 in Sarajevo at the gala awards ceremony at the Art Gallery of B&H, followed by the rest of the Festival.
The prize fund of the contest is 10.000 BAM, and the grand prix award is a camera Canon EOS 5D MK III, gift from the general sponsor of the competition Canon Bosnia and Herzegovina.
