The Education Center for Democracy and Human Rights CITIVTAS announced a three-day Institute for improving the capacity in the scientific and professional field of civic education with guest lecturer Professor Thomas S. Vontz from the US.
The aim of the program is to strengthen joint action in the area of improving the quality of programs of education for democracy and human rights at all levels of education, and to define the framework for the development of the curriculum for the development of civic competence at all levels of education.
Professor Thomas S. Vontz of Kanas University will give the opening address. He is a visiting lecturer to the Institute. The US Embassy in Sarajevo finances the program.
The opening of the Institute is on Friday, 11 October at 15:00 in hotel ‘Hollywood’ in Sarajevo.
