Opening of Seminar on Jahorina on Protection and Rescue in Emergency Situations

jahorina_ljeto_2012aThe RS Minister of Internal Affairs Radislav Jovičić and the Ambassador of France to BiH Roland Gilles will open the seminar today called “Protection and Rescue in Emergency Situations”, which will be held on Jahorina.

The RS Minister of Internal Affairs (MUP) is organizing this five-day seminar with the help of the instrument for technical help and exchange of information of the EU-TAIEX. The goal is for the representatives of MUP RS, RS Administration for Civil Protection, Fire Brigade Union RS, BiH Ministry of Security, Federal Administration for Civil Protection, and representatives of the municipal department of civil protection in the RS to become familiar with the standards in this area in the EU.

Experts from France will present the way of organizing civil protection and crisis management in France, and some of the topics will be: crisis management-local and national level, forecasting system to provide assistance, measures and plans for organization to provide assistance, as well as the role and training of firefighters in they system of protection and rescue.
