Opening of the “White Trail” on Blidinje on Saturday

13434182_1202139926503628_1221586459_nOpening ceremony of the “White Trail” organized within the project “Via Dinarica: Platform for Sustainable Development of Tourism and Local Economic Growth” will be held on Saturday, June 11, at 10:30 am in the nature park Blidinje, stated the Information Department of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The mentioned project has been implemented and finances by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in BiH and the UNDP BiH since 2014. Objectives of the mentioned initiative are promotion of the Dinaric corridor and the reduction of economic, social and regional differences in BiH through the affirmation of Via Dinarica as a regional tourist destination and the increase of competitiveness in the field of adventure and recreational tourism which promotes the natural heritage of BiH.

Speeches at the opening ceremony will be held by the Ambassador of the USA to BiH Maureen Cormack, Resident Representative of UNDP BiH Sezin Sinanoglu, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mato Franjičević.
