Operational Commander and COM EUFOR meet the High Representative

As part of his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Operational Commander Lieutenant General Ludovic Pinon de Quincy, together with COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu, met with High Representative Christian Schmidt.

During the discussions, the Operational Commander expressed his gratitude for the High Representative’s support and reaffirmed EUFOR Operation Althea’s commitment to assisting BiH institutions in ensuring a safe and secure environment for all citizens. He underlined:

“I am here to emphasize EUFOR’s commitment to preserving peace and stability for all the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

The meeting also addressed the current security situation in BiH and the important role played by EUFOR.
