Opposition Protest in Banja Luka: Humiliation of the NARS will not be allowed

On the plateau in front of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska tonight, citizens and MPs and other officials of the parties representing the opposition gathered.

At this “open air assembly”, which was attended by a large number of citizens, it was pointed out that NSRS is alienated from a few individuals and that it is humiliating itself and that it is “a lot more”.

The ruling majority is requested to hold a thematic session as soon as possible, where they will discuss the realization of the NARS conclusions that were adopted two months ago.

PDP MP in the National Assembly Igor Crnadak and MP Nebojša Vukanović pointed out that there is betrayal and humiliation of the RS and that they want to preserve the dignity of the RS National Assembly.

Crnadak emphasized that the SNSD has been trading with the conclusions of the NSRS for ten years.

“We said enough this time, no more. For the PDP, Republika Srpska is in the first place, we will not allow the people to gather around one man,” Crnadak said, among other things, and called for a session where the violation of the NSRS conclusions will be discussed.

In this sense, Vukanović reminded that two months ago the National Assembly of the RS adopted a decision that no law would be adopted at the BiH level until the amendments to the Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH were adopted, and the opposite was done.

“I think it is high time for the people to stand up and vote against the trampling and humiliation of the National Assembly of the RS,” said Vukanović.

Vukota Govedarica, a member of the SDS in the NSRS, said that he would not give up on the special session of the NSRS, where violations of the law will be discussed.

The Banja Luka Police Department issued a decision prohibiting the public assembly of opposition representatives of the NSRS in front of the Assembly, but they nevertheless held an ‘open air meeting’ from a decent distance in the park and spoke with the citizens on that occasion, RTRS reports.
