Farmers from Posavina, who today blocked part of the main road Tuzla – Orašje, not far from the border crossing, announced the blockade of the border if they do not receive an answer from the relevant ministry, it was confirmed for BHRT.

They demand from the Government of the Federation the payment of the promised aid for the wheat produced last year and this year, in the amount of six hundred marks per hectare, then the immediate payment of the overdue incentives and an urgent meeting with the competent federal minister.

They also announced that, if they do not receive an answer by 10 a.m. tomorrow, they will block the Orašje border crossing.

The Minister of Agriculture of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kemal Hrnjić, confirmed for BHRT that there is a readiness of the Government to negotiate with farmers and jointly seek a solution, and that he is ready to go to Orašje in the morning and that there is no need for any radical moves such as blocking the border crossing.
