”Orao” Opened New Plant

The RS Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Željko Kovačević placed into operation the questioning of turbo-jet engines within the work of the company “Orao” in Bijeljina.

During the ceremony, the minister said that the RS government, through the Investment Development Bank, helped this facility with 3.7 million KM for projects and will continue to help in the next period.

‘’We will certainly be a reliable partner to “Orao”, and we will do everything so that this company has a chance to develop”, said Minister Kovačević.

He said that the company is an example that best shows that the RS can develop advanced technologies that employs professional staff, and also wishes for the RS economy to follow modern technologies.

The Director of “Orao” Milan Prica said that the questioning of turbo-jet engines is working for the first time in BiH.

“This work is not begin done anywhere else in the region of the former Yugoslavia, apart from the test calls that exist in Batajnici, and which was made by this company”, said Prica.

He mentioned that the facility was built with funding worth around 800.000 KM.
