President of the Federation “Organsko FBiH” Sejad Herceg stated that 20 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina participate in the fair. They will offer their products to the citizens of Sarajevo.

Furthermore, Herceg explained that the producers exhibit greenhouse products such as spring onions, lettuce and spinach, as well as medical herbs, honey, jams, juices and other products.

Within the manifestation, the working meeting of the team for implementation of EU and other projects was also held yesterday and the regular Assembly of the Federation “Organsko FBiH” will be held today.

On the last day of the fair, the educational presentation “Using protective means and contribution of bees in fruit growing” will be held.

These activities are aimed at connecting the organic production with the buyers, producers and cantonal and federal authorities, in order to present them the role that the organic production plays in the development of rural areas, survival of people in this areas, creation of new value in the economic sense, and presentation of natural resources and attractions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Herceg highlighted that by organizing the previous events they have helped the manufacturers build their own brand and position on the market, thus becoming recognizable to the BiH buyers.
