Orwell’s 1984 in SARTR Again

orwellOn Tuesday, 4 February at 20:00, the play 1984 will be held in SARTR, directed by Benjamin Bajramović and Jasenko Pašić.

The play is done as part of the program of the Theatre Observatory.

In an adaptation of Orwell’s novel 1984, as well as the original work, Winston Smith, a civil servant in the vast machinery of the totalitarian superstate of Oceania, begins to think for himself, which begins the most important and exciting period of his life.

In a crowd of uniformed people who constitute the social structure of Oceania, Winton meets a like-minded individual called Julia, with whom he develops an unusual romantic relationship.

Participants in this performance are actors Jasenko Pašić, Amila Terzimehić and Benjamin Bajramović, Edita Gazibara on video, Naida Begović and Neira Sinanbašić on design, Dino Mustafić and Selma Spahić as consultants.
