Osman Junuzović fourth in Cross Running at the Championships

Osman Junuzović novovrijeme.baOsman Junuzović achieved the best ranking of all BH athletes at the Balkan Cross Country Championships held on Sunday in Vrbovec, Croatia by winning the fourth place in the category of younger seniors – U23.

Member of the Athletic Club Doboj Istok ran the eight-kilometer-long section in 25 minutes and 14 seconds.

In the junior competition, male and female national teams of B&H won fifth place each, and individually the best BH contestants were Belmin Mrkanović (9th) and Jelena Gajić (17th).

Ten countries participated at the championships. The best were the athletes from Turkey, who won seven golden medals.
