Over 1.3 Million BAM of Public Revenue collected in Two Months

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH announced that taxpayers of the Federation of BiH paid 1,358,946,474 BAM of public revenues in the period January-February 2026.

They added that as of February 28, 2026, the number of active business entities with included business units and branches in the Federation of BiH was 134,954, and as of February 28, 2025, it was 131,899.

The number of employees according to the place of residence of employees as of February 28, 2026 was 542,080.

According to official records of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH as of February 28, 2026, 163,616 people under the age of 35 were employed, or 30.18 percent, and 378,464 people over the age of 36 were employed, or 69.82 percent. On that day, 300,160 or 55.37 percent of men and 241,920 or 44.63 percent of women were employed in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the official data of the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on February 28, 2026, a total of 110,428 fiscal devices were installed in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through which a total turnover of 5,540,592,053.64 BAM was recorded in February 2026.

The municipality with the largest number of fiscal devices is the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, where 7,264 fiscal devices have been installed.

The municipality in which the largest total turnover through fiscal devices was recorded in February 2026 is the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, in whose territory the total turnover was recorded in the amount of 446,929,576.66 BAM, announced the PUFBiH.
