Over 1.9 Million BAM allocated for Social Benefits in Canton Sarajevo

The Ministry of Labor, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of the Sarajevo Canton announces that the payment of benefits based on the protection of families with children in the Sarajevo Canton, for the month of August, begins today.

For this purpose, the line ministry allocated funds in the amount of 1,990,117.24 BAM for 10,373 users.

These are beneficiaries who are entitled to child allowance, compensation instead of the salary of a woman-mother in employment while absent from work due to pregnancy, childbirth and child care, financial assistance during pregnancy and childbirth of a non-employed woman-mother and one-time assistance for the equipment of a newborn child, the Protocol and Press Service of the Sarajevo Canton announced.
