In the first half of this year, 139,701 passengers visited the Trebević cable car, of which 65,499 were residents, and 74,202 were non-residents – it was stated to Fena news agency by Džena Zeničanin from the Marketing and Promotion Department of JP Sarajevo d.o.o..

Zeničanin pointed out that this company is very satisfied with the visit of tourists, as well as local guests.

“Visitors found salvation from the intense heat in the city on the mountain and enjoyed themselves far from the hustle of the city. Tourists find it interesting that they can reach Trebević from the hot asphalt from the city center, and they use this benefit. According to our records, the season of visiting guests from Saudi Arabia, then Turkey has started, the number of visitors from Asia has also increased, and our standard guests are from the region as well as Europe,” said Zeničanin.

From the company Sarajevo d.o.o. they pointed out that in the summer season they try to work at full capacity, non-stop, so they don’t plan any regular services, apart from the standard safety checks that are done every day.

The working hours of the cable car are on Mondays from 12:00 to 21:00, and on other days from 09:00 to 21:00.
