Modrac Lake in Lukavac is mostly frozen and covered with snow these days due to the extremely low temperatures that have affected not only Lukavac but the greater part of BiH.

Although the area around Lake Modrac is not a tourist attraction because of pollution, in these photographs, we must admit, it looks just beautiful.

Houseboats which are here all year will remain “trapped” in the ice for some time.

Also, construction work that was carried out on the organization and expansion of restaurants near the lake are suspended for now.

When it comes to a larger part of BiH, on Friday was issued an orange alert due to extremely low temperatures and strong winds.

Very cold weather affected the countries of the region in which the air temperature was below – 20 °C.
