Over 27 Percent of Residents of Canton Sarajevo fully vaccinated

The Public Health Institute of Sarajevo Canton (CS) published a cross-section of the state of vaccination against coronavirus in CS health institutions from March 8 to September 5 this year.

The first dose in CS institutions was received by 50,666 residents aged 18 to 60, which is 46.3 percent of the number of vaccinated and 22.5 percent in relation to age. The first dose was also given to 58,659 residents over the age of 60 (53.7 percent of the total number of vaccinated, 54.9 percent in relation to age).

A total of 109,359 CS citizens received the first dose (33 percent by age). The second dose of the vaccine was received by 18,462 residents aged 18 to 60 (31.5 percent of the number of vaccinated, 8.2 percent in relation to age).

There are 40,063 fully vaccinated citizens over the age of 60 (68.5 percent of the number of vaccinated, 37.5 percent in relation to age).

The second dose was given to 58,525 people (17.6 percent of age). A total of 69,128 people aged 18 to 60 (0.31 doses per capita) and 98,722 people aged 60 and over (0.92 doses per capita) received the administered doses. 167,850 inhabitants (0.51 doses per inhabitant) were completely vaccinated.

Minors are not currently in the vaccination plan.
