Over 380,000 Visits to BiH in the First Four Months!

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, there was a total of 381,896 visits from January until April 2019, up by 10.5 percent and 818,852 overnight stays, up 12.4 percent over the same period last year.

The number of domestic tourist nights was 10.3 percent higher, and foreign tourists by 13.4 percent, the BiH Agency for Statistics announced.

In the total number of overnight stays, the participation of domestic tourists was 31.7 percent, while the foreign ones accounted for 68.3 percent.

Among foreign tourists, most of the overnight stays were realized by tourists from Croatia (23.3 percent), Serbia (13.4 percent), Slovenia (6.5 percent), Italy (5.2 percent), Germany and Turkey percent), China (3.6 percent) and United Arab Emirates (3.1 percent)

As for the length of stay of foreign tourists in our country, tourists from Estonia, with an average stay of 3.9 nights, followed by 3.6 nights in Croatia, 3.4 nights in Iceland, Kuwait with 3.2 nights, and Ireland and Finland for three nights, Klix.ba news portal reports.
