A consignment of a total of 43,290 Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines arrived at Sarajevo International Airport today, which are intended for Bosnia and Herzegovina through the COVAX and EU4HELATH mechanisms.

A cargo flight to Sarajevo delivered 32,760 doses of BioNTech-Pfizer vaccines from the COVAX program and 10,530 doses from the same manufacturer from the EU4HEALTH program.

The next doses of COVAX are coming tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. 35,100 doses arrive on Tuesday and 32,760 on Wednesday.

In this way, the earlier announcement of the delivery of 100,620 doses of vaccines from COVAX will be realized.

By the end of May, 81,600 doses of AstraZeneca are expected to be delivered through the COVAX program, in two allocations of 40,800 doses each.

So far, 26,400 doses of this vaccine have arrived in BiH, and the number of 108,000 doses will be completed with new deliveries, Klix.ba writes.
