Over 60 Percent of Vehicles are over 15 Years old in BiH

A total of 740,100 vehicles were registered in the Federation of BiH /FBiH last year, which is 4.5 percent more than the previous year, when 708,299 were registered.

56,011 vehicles were registered for the first time.

Observed by age, of the total number of registered road motor vehicles, 6.3 percent are in the age category of up to five years, 33.4 percent are in the category between six and 15 years, while 60.3 percent are older than 15 years.

Last year in FBiH, of the total number of road motor vehicles registered, 86.4 percent were passenger cars, 10.1 percent were cargo vehicles, and 3.5 percent were all other categories of vehicles, the Federal Bureau of Statistics announced.

Of the total number of registered road motor vehicles, 56,011 are registered for the first time in 2023, which is 34.7 percent more than in 2022, when 41,584 vehicles were registered for the first time.
